Microsoft (MS) Access/SQL Programmer
SUMMARY
This role will work alongside the IT Programmer in the daily support of the company's MS Access/SQL ERP system, assisting with user requests, program changes, new functionality, and general ERP support tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support ERP systems (including responsibility, programming and development of the group's primary ERP).
MS SQL - table design, view design.
Assist with day to day user requests via helpdesk - new functionality, changes to existing functionality, implementing user rights, controlling and implementing changes in accordance with company procedures.
Working with users to analyze and assess their requests and implement solutions to make the business more efficient and productive.
Enforce and maintain Corporate IT standards, policies and procedures, including IT SOX compliance.
Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.
Able to work out/with normal office hours as business requires.
Ability to travel as needed to meet business demands.
Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Three (3) years of relevant work experience required.
Experience working with cross functional teams.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Expertise in MS Access (currently v. 2016) including understanding of queries, forms, reports, macros, modules, and VBA. Ability to dissect complex VBA programming. Ability to program complex queries.
Proficiency in MS SQL (currently v. 2012). Ability to create SQL tables and program SQL views.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
